Ice Cream Float of the Day: HMS Flake 99 — the world’s first amphibious ice cream truck — took to the Thames today for its maiden voyage.
Captained by stand-up comedian David Mounfield, the floating Flake 99 peddler was commission by Cadbury’s ice cream maker Fredericks Dairies in honor of National Ice Cream Week.
It is scheduled to go on a tour of Britain’s beaches, and may even hop “across the Channel and onto the canals of Venice.”

The Walk Of Faith is a glass walkway built off the side of a cliff 1,430 meters in the air. This 60 meter long walk is not meant for the faint of heart.
The path is located on Tianmen Mountain in China’s Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Would you be brave enough to take the Walk of Faith?

Researchers in panda costumes perform a physical exam on a 6-month-old panda cub at the Wolong Giant Panda Reserve Centre in China in February 2011. The cub, born to a captive panda mother, was the first captive-bred cub to be reintroduced to the wild. The researchers dressed as pandas so the cub wouldn’t begin to identify with humans.
