CAPTAIN BACKFIRE!

mrsjamespotter:

i say i own a blog, but the truth is the blog owns me

My friend recently watched Sherlock and asked me my theory on the Reichenbach Fall. So I gave it. I couldn’t help but to research online for what Moffat had to say about it. He said he’s been to online forums reading theories and all but everyone missed the clue. That got me to re-watching the episode seeing what I could’ve missed out. Here’s a sort of updated version of my theory (well, more like points and possibilities) as to how Sherlock survived.
1.) The girl who got kidnapped supposedly recognized Sherlock. They must’ve used a Sherlock lookalike to plant the idea in her head that Sherlock is bad. Maybe Moriarty eliminated said lookalike and he somehow ended up at Molly’s morgue. Possible corpse to use?
2.) There’s 2 shots of the body. One of it landing face down. The next shot being him lying on his side. Possible body switch.
3.) Trash truck seen in and out of the shot. Possible place to hide the corpse for the body switch or for Sherlock to jump from the fall into? The former seems more likely though.
3.) Watson checking his pulse- earlier Sherlock was fiddling with a ball. Patrick Jane from the Mentalist used the same trick. Sorry I watch too much TV- basically, if you put a small ball near your underarm area you can hide your pulse in your wrist.
4.) Cyclist. Bought more time for the possible body switch. If it wasn’t for the cyclist ‘accidentally’ hitting Watson-Watson would’ve reached the body earlier. The rest of the bystanders got to the body only a few moments before Watson did. Plenty of time to work with. The trash truck also left by this time.
4.) Molly. Like I said earlier, she could’ve supplied the corpse or helped him sedate his body to seem dead or cleared the body as dead and as Sherlock’s. One thing’s for sure, she helped him somehow.
It’s not really much to go on I guess, but it’s what I’ve noticed. The only thing I can’t wrap my head around is that when Sherlock was falling, he was flailing his arms. Now, if only I had a cadaver to experiment with.

THANK YOU @dreamsandrabbitholes!!! :)

I lololove it! From letter to the Star Wars cards (she printed it to herself!), to the CD, photos and different stickers. OH. And the bacon band-aid! I’ll only use it when I’m bleeding to death I suppose, since it’s too pretty to ever use :D

I didn’t expect to get anything on my birthday, so when the post office sent me a slip to pick up something-I thought it was just another one of my sister’s things from ebay. It was only when I arrived at the post office and when they handed me the package that I realized it was for me. HAHA.

Joined a 10k fun run today with my brother. It’s part of our ‘New Year’s resolutions’ to do at least one 5k, 10k and 21k run. My older brother Kikko couldn’t join because his foot got injured. I wasn’t supposed to because my right knee has been having weird pain spasms during the whole week-I’m glad I did push through because I got to place 1st in the women’s division! My younger brother was top 10 in the men’s division. So besides crossing off one of my resolutions today, I crossed off something in my bucket list (getting first at something). Wee :D

Another thing I did in Singapore was watch my very first broadway musical with my brother. We always joke about how in the future (when we actually have money) we’d go watch broadways and be all ‘cultural’ and ‘sophisticated’-so it was perfect when I found out Wicked was showing at the Marina Bay Sands Theatre during our stay in Singapore. He’s actually more into these things than me, so I mostly went along for him-that being said, I enjoyed it more than expected. I even got teary eyed at one point! Anyone who knows me knows it’s hard to make me cry. It was wonderful, the story, the set, the cast, the music -everything. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to watch it. I’m lucky I did.

I really wish I could put everything I think and feel about Laneway down in words. I’ll guess just attempt to? Considering it was my first music festival and out-of-town trip (without the rest of my family) my expectations were well exceeded. I don’t really know where to start. The atmosphere for the whole event was awesome, especially up front with all the fans swaying and singing along to the music. That’s where I was most of the time. It’s also one of the first few times I didn’t feel as self-conscious of ‘dancing’ or singing along to the music. As cliche’ as it sounds, it’s like the crowd was ‘one’ in some way-the common denominator being music I guess. And although one of my big toes is still slightly numb from all the standing (1:30pm-12:30pm) and walking from the rest of the days I spent in Singapore -it was well worth it. I really can’t explain the feeling I had during and even after the concert. It was a weird sort of high. Just thinking about it makes me miss the feeling. It was-for lack of a better word-awesome. I think I should stop here, since I’m running out of adjectives and coherent sentences. Last thing I’ll say though is that to date I don’t think any other concert I’ve been to (so far) can rival this one.

I think I finally found one of the few social environments I’m comfortable with-concerts. I’m usually awkward at ‘parties’ or things that involve lots of people, dancing or anything with coordination but concerts, concerts I can do (and yes, that includes me actually making the effort to dance/bop along to bands).

thegreatskadoosh:

Feist’s epic tribal-infused version of Mushaboom. I almost didn’t recognize the song when she played it, especially as she stripped it away of its cutesy and poppy sound.

I’m glad I got to see Feist play live at least once in my lifetime. She was actually the catalyst for my going to Singapore at all.

Hello Tumblr, I’m back from Singapore!!! :D

Since Chuck is ending (technically it already ended, I’m just delaying the inevitable) I decided to buy myself a Chuck t-shirt (another thing I’ve been delaying) since they’ll probably run out in the future. I ended up getting this Nerd Herd t-shirt since the Buy More t-shirts are more expensive. MANN. I’m really going to miss this show.
